SUMMARY:CSR Committee: CSR Award 2020 Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Video-conference Invitation\n\n\n\nCSR Committee: CSR Award 2020 Information Session\n\n\n\nAll AMCHAM members are invited to attend the AMCHAM CSR Committee's information session on the CSR Award. First time entrants and SMEs are particularly encouraged to apply.\n\n\n\nMyth: Only large multi-national companies can win the award\n\nFact: The award is open to all members\, and small organizations have won in the past\n\n\n\nMyth: Companies need a huge budget to win\n\nFact: Program value is not a main consideration of the awards.\n\n\n\nMyth: Projects and programs can only win if a company donates money to an NGO or a non-profit organization\n\nFact: Internal projects\, such as working to improve the lives of your employees or improve your environmental practices are also eligible.\n\n\n\nSince 2007\, AMCHAM's CSR Award has honored member organizations that create long-term economic and social benefits in their Thailand communities. Over the years\, the program has grown in size and recognition.\n\n\n\nDuring this unprecedented time\, several AMCHAM member companies are going above and beyond to support pandemic response. Through this year's award\, we will recognize their efforts with new Covid-Response Special Award categories to recognize the good work of our member companies. Join the video conference for more details.\n\n\n\nTo qualify for CSR Award\, a firm's CSR program must receive high-marks in six key criteria:\n\n	Integration with Company Mission\n	Communication\n	Measurability of Results\n	Organizational Policy\n	Partnerships\n	Sustainability\n\nIf your company has been recognized in the past\, now is the time to begin planning a repeat performance for higher levels of recognition silver\, gold\, or platinum based upon the number of consecutive years recognized. If you are a new member or you have never applied for a CSR recognition\, come to this meeting to learn how you can apply.\n\n\n\nThe submission process is not difficult\, but it does involve some forethought and planning. At this month's meeting\, the CSR Committee will introduce the revised CSR Award process for 2020. If you have any inclination to participate\, join us for the videoconference on May 21.\n\n\n\nNote that your representative can be anyone you authorize -- your CSR maven or savvy PA included.
