SUMMARY:Customs and Excise Council Workshop with the Customs Department on Transfer Pricing
DESCRIPTION:The AMCHAM Customs and Excise and Tax Councils are honored to organize a Transfer Pricing Workshop with the Customs Department. Approximately 70 officials from different divisions will join this special capacity-building session\, including the Customs Standard Procedures and Valuation Division\, Legal Affairs Division\, and Post-Clearance Audit Division.\n\n \n\nAMCHAM will be represented by the Customs and Excise Council co-chairs: Duangkamol Tippayoros of Ford Motor\, Malika Bhumivarn of KPMG\, Paul Sumner of PWC\, William Chea of EY\, and Jonathan Stuart-Smith of Forvis Mazars as a representative from the Tax Council co-chairs.\n\n \n\nTopics of presentation will include:\n1. Introduction of Transfer Pricing and methodology of TP \n\n      Pricing and Profit adjustment approach\n\n2. The linkage between Transfer Pricing and Customs Valuation \n\n      TCCV case study\n\n3. Best practice from other countries \n\n      Australia Practice\n\n      WCO\n\n      Royalty\n\n      Assist\n\n      Refund\n\n4. Recommendations for Customs Consideration \n\n \nAMCHAM maintains ongoing dialogue with key Thai Government agencies to promote our common goals of fostering a robust business environment in the Kingdom and increasing Thailand's competitiveness at a regional and global level. \n\n \n\nAMCHAM's policy priorities are developed through our working group councils\, open to all members for participation. All policy positions taken forward through AMCHAM channels must represent a significant group of members and receive final approval from the Board of Governors.
