DESCRIPTION:AMCHAM's Customs & Excise Council's April 2020 meeting will be virtual and will focus on Covid -19 issues. In preparation\, the Council would like to hear from members about any concerns they may have. The Council will be collecting comments and making representation to the authorities on measures that would help alleviate problems companies are facing at the moment. For example\, it might be difficult to meet a reporting deadline or the time limit to export goods. The more specific the issues\, the more likely the Council will get a favorable response.These are some of the categories that issues might fall into:\n\n\n\n- Customs import / export clearance\n\n- Free Zone\n\n- BOI customs issues\n\n- Import licensing\n\n- Import or export origin\n\n- Excise\n\n \n\nPlease submit your comments to Kittie@amchamthailand.com by April 24 at 3 pm to allow consolidation prior to the committee meeting scheduled on April 28. \n\n\n\nRegister for this meeting to discuss these issues which affect many AMCHAM companies and help us to determine workable solutions.
