DESCRIPTION:What's new with hemp and cannabis?  The Food and Agri-Business Committee has organized another event around Thailand's liberalization of hemp and cannabis. This includes products\, services\, R&D\, and\, of course\, registration with the Thai FDA.  \n\n \n\nNoting the strides the Thai FDA is making in preparing for pharmaceutical\, cosmetic and food products regulations for this new industry\, our Food & Agribusiness Committee is very pleased to have Dr. Sayan Ruadrew\, Food and Drug Technical Officer of Food and Drug Administration\, Ministry of Health join us on May 24 at 10 am to learn more about the Thai FDA's preparations for food products containing hemp and cannabis derivatives. \n\n\n\nOur speaker:\n\nDr. Sayan Ruadrew\, Food and Drug Technical Officer\, Professional Level at Food Division\, Food and Drug Administration\, Ministry of Public Health (Thai FDA) and currently completed Ph.D. (Food Toxicology)\, School of Health and Life Sciences\, Glasgow Caledonian University\, United Kingdom. His research area focused in carcinogens or mutagens in food as well as naturally-occurring anticarcinogens or antimutagens in foods or plants.
