DESCRIPTION:Thailand's food and beverage policies are adapting to encourage a healthier population as well as building economic champions as part of its strategy to be the Kitchen to the World.\n\nThe Food & Agribusiness Council has invited Dr. Saipin Chotiwichien\, Director of Nutrition Bureau\, Department of Health\, Han Yin Leong\, Regional Senior Manager\, Food Industry Asia (FIA) and Dr. Pichet Itkor\, Secretary of the Federation of Thai Industries' (FTI) Food & Beverage Industry Club to present on regional and Thai initiatives in the areas of public health and healthier choices\, including proposed legislation on marketing restrictions and the potential for tax changes on food & beverage products. By engaging with expert speakers and fostering open dialogue\, we aim to facilitate a deeper understanding of these crucial issues and promote constructive collaboration.\n\nFollowing the presentations\, participants are encouraged to join in a robust discussion around where members can support these policies\, concerns about implementation\, and what advocacy initiatives Food & Agribusiness Council may pursue in this area.\n\n\nMeeting Agenda\n\n\n	Speakers' presentations on regional and Thailand's food and beverage policies and initiatives.\n	Discussions for advocacy activities.
