DESCRIPTION:The Government Affairs Council will convene virtually on August 18 with the following agenda:\n\n\n	The Government Affairs report of August:\n	\n		AMCHAM Road Safety Meeting with Permanent Secretary Chayatan Phromsorn\, Ministry of Transport on July 21\n		AMCHAM Road Safety Meeting with Deputy Director General Chestha Mosikarat\, Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation on July 29\n		Update on AMCHAM position paper on Revamping the Social Security System to Support Thai Workers.\n	\n	\n	Matters for discussion:\n	\n		Drafted Royal Decree on Digital Platform Service Providers by the ETDA\n		AMCHAM position paper on Paper on Visa and Work Permit\n	\n	\n	Status of upcoming meetings with the government:\n	\n		Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) on September 3\n		AMCHAM Involvement in APEC 2022 Meeting\n	\n	\n	Other matters\n\n\nAll AMCHAM members are welcome to attend the Government Affairs Council meetings to stay abreast of the policy priorities that AMCHAM advocates for on behalf of members.
