DESCRIPTION:The Government Affairs Council will convene to discuss the following topics:\n\n	Recap of AMCHAM courtesy meetings with the Vice-Minister of Science and Technology\, the Minister attached to the PM's Office\, and the Minister of Digital Economy and Society.\n	Advocacy update\n	CPTPP and RCEP\n	Thailand's 20-year National Strategy\n	Thai Innovation List\n	Cooperation with the New Economy Academy (NEA)\n	AMCHAM Road Safety Campaign\n\nAMCHAM Thailand is pleased to host representatives from The Asia Foundation to update our members on the results of a recent study on the state of US-Thailand relationship. The Asia Foundation will report on their investigation which has identified the areas most crucial to reinvigorating U.S.-Thai relations. The report is the result of exhaustive interviews of leaders   diplomats\, politicians\, military officers\, scholars\, and business leaders   who have shaped the relationship in previous decades. In July 2018\, a bilateral dialogue between delegations of Thai and U.S. leaders in Washington\, DC took place. The published report can be found here.\n\n\n\nGovernment Affairs Council members and Government Affairs managers from AMCHAM member companies are all invited to attend.
