DESCRIPTION:The Healthcare Council gathers industry stakeholders\, including hospitals\, pharmaceuticals\, medical devices\, insurers and other interested companies to discuss current issues affecting the industry\, find solutions\, and collaborate on advocacy and programming initiatives.\n\n\n\nThe next Healthcare Council meeting will convene virtually on September 25.\n\nThe meeting agenda: \n\n1)         VAT issue for medical device raised by Tax Committee leader\, John Andes\n\n2)         Update on collaboration with USTDA: topic of workshop and other further updates\n\n3)         Update on AMCHAM healthcare paper\n\n4)         New government formation: issues for new government to focus and update from new government's policy declaration to the parliament\n\n5)         Other matters\n\n\n\nPlease note that all AMCHAM members are welcome to join Council Meetings.
