U.S. Attorney General William Barr\, July 2020\n\n\n\nAMCHAM Legal Committee welcomes Joshua Rosenstein\, Esq.\, from the Washington DC law firm Sandler Reiff Lamb Rosenstein & Birkenstock to discuss why enforcement of this 80-year Act is being intensified in the current political environment\, and how doing business in the U.S. for foreign clients could potentially lead to a criminal violation. \n\n\n\nOur Speaker:\n\nRosenstein's practices includes lobbyist regulations\; FARA requirements\; government ethics\; and non-profit law\, and designs in-depth compliance programs to guide entities and their clients through complicated lobbying-related regulations.  He previously served as in-house general counsel of one of the nation's largest lobbying\, communications\, and consulting firms.  He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at William & Mary Law School\, teaching courses on lobbying regulation\, and was recently awarded the William & Mary Election Law Educator of the Year Award.  Mr. Rosenstein graduated from Columbia University\, summa cum laude\, and from Yale Law School.
