SUMMARY:Roundtable Meeting with Ministry of Energy
DESCRIPTION:AMCHAM is honored to meet with the Ministry of Energy on policy issues of mutual interest. The Ministry of Energy delegation will be led by Dr. Norkun Sitthiphong\, Advisor to the Minister and former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy to represent the Minister in the meeting\n\n \n\nAMCHAM will be represented by AMCHAM President Ornkanya (Mook) Pibuldham\, AMCHAM Vice President Peerasak Gamonsugosol\, Platinum Members\, and ESG council co-chairs.\n\n\n\nTopics under discussion for this meeting will include:\n\n	Appreciation of the initiative on Utility Green Tariff\, Direct Power Purchase Agreement and Third-Party Access Code (TPA).\n	Traditional energy and energy transition under the new Energy Development Plan.\n	Energy pricing mechanism\, COP 28 and COP 29.\n	Potential collaborations between AMCHAM and the Ministry\n\nAMCHAM maintains ongoing dialogue with key Thai Government agencies to promote our common goals of fostering a robust business environment in the Kingdom and increasing Thailand's competitiveness at a regional and global level. \n\n \n\nAMCHAM's policy priorities are developed through our working group councils\, open to all members for participation. All policy positions taken forward through AMCHAM channels must represent a significant group of members and receive final approval from the Board of Governors.
