In particular\, the recently enacted Ministry of Public Health Notification No. 341 B.E. 2565 regulating foods obtained from Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) has introduced additional responsibilities and requirements for food producers\, importers\, and exporters. \n\n \n\nJiraratana will provide insights on the Notification\, covering its requirements in detail\, the safety assessment body and its procedures\, punitive measures for non-compliance\, as well as impacts on food and agri-business operators.\n\n \n\nAbout the Speaker\n\nJiraratana has over 20 years of experience working at the Food and Drug Administration. At the Food Standard Section\, she initiated the Notification on Food Safety Control under the Food Act B.E. 2522. She also has been involved in setting the standards for labeling\, food packaging\, food additives\, nutrition\, and contaminants\, among others.
