About the Speakers:
Marisa Chaichumnan is Director of Thailand Business Continuity Management at Western Digital, where she leads and manages crisis and disaster recovery planning. With over 10 years of experience in Business Continuity Management, she holds certifications as a Business Continuity Professional/Practitioner (CBCI) and ISO22301 Business Continuity Management Lead Auditor, following her previous role as an Occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Industrial Hygiene Specialist. Marisa earned her Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene and Safety and Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety Science from Mahidol University, and has demonstrated strong leadership through numerous incidents including heavy rain/flood events, the global pandemic, and earthquakes, showcasing her extensive crisis management expertise.
Philip Bernard is Senior Vice President (SVP) of HDD Assembly & Backend Operations at Western Digital. Philip is responsible for the development of a world-class manufacturing operations in Asia and significant Engineering involvement in Product Development and Sustaining Engineering. Philip’s global team includes 16,000 employees with HDD factories located in Thailand and Engineering units in the U.S., Japan, Bangalore and Scotland.
